Boppi Smashes It With LADbible Partnership!

Leading global toy manufacturer, ZURU, is celebrating following a recent partnership with entertainment giant LADbible saw its Pets Alive star, Boppi: The Booty Shakin Llama, go viral.

As part of a branded content Facebook campaign, Boppi’s twerking routines reached one million views over a 48hr period and achieved over five million impressions following its go-live date on 14 August. The combination of Boppi UGC and a mix of new and stock booty shaking sequences across LADbible’s Facebook channel created an authentic collaboration to deliver a wide-reaching and prodigious global campaign.

‘We’ve already seen a fantastic reaction to Boppi especially amongst kids’ explained Erika Sava, Senior Marketing Manager, ZURU Toys. ‘The collaboration with LADbible allowed us to reach and engage with an adult audience within one of the world’s most creative social publishers and global communities. Boppi has already been named as one of the top toys for Christmas with retailers such as Argos and Amazon and she’s proving to be a real star.’

Due to Boppi’s success, ZURU has today announced that it is launching a Rainbow Boppi for Q1 2020. Driving the Pets Alive brand growth, new items will be introduced within the range including the Rainbow Boppi reskin to refresh the hit llama’s look. The new Rainbow version will include new songs and dance moves – but promises to retain the famous booty shakin’ twerk.
