Schleich was running a global competition for children to design their own reindeer - winning entries would be made into their own Schleich figures! 

With the creative possibilities endless, we wanted to work with someone who could really inspire children to put pen to paper and use their imaginations.  We knew that YouTube sensation Rob Biddulph aka @drawwithrob would be fantastic at encouraging kids to think outside the norm (would their reindeer be glittery, striped, flowery, spotted, or dotted?), whilst also enabling Schleich to reach new audiences and try different platforms and concepts. 

Rob used his popular style of ‘drawalong’ videos to create a blank reindeer template for children to customise in their own style, and gave them helpful pointers and guidance, all whilst encouraging them to enter the competition and visit the Schleich social media pages.    

The approach proved a great success with views of Rob's video exceeding 702 hours of watch time, 114k impressions and above average click through rates to competition entry. The competition received over 15,000 entries overall!
